She is responsible for maintaining children’s files, immunization records, emergency drills, and to assist the director with day to day operations of the Early Learning Center. Cat says she feels blessed to have the opportunity to help make our program a safe, healthy, fun place for children to learn and grow.
Darla Price, Lead Teacher for Red Dogs (3-4 yr olds) – “I’ve always felt serving children and families was my calling. After 19 years I still get excited when a child recites their ABC’s or masters a new skill for the first time. I feel blessed, to be given the opportunity to instill a love of learning in each child. I want every child to feel loved, safe, and free to grow and develop into the best people they can be.”
Gina South, Lead Teacher for Green Frogs (4-5 yr olds) – “I joined the HSPELC staff in 2006. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and have worked with children and families in a variety of ways over the last 20 years. I believe early childhood education is important to a child’s development and helps set the foundation for future school success. The curriculum for my class allows the child to experience social, emotional, and cognitive growth in order to make the transition to Kindergarten less challenging. Expect a fun, nurturing, structured environment in which all Kindergarten readiness skills are practiced.” –
