Happy Easter season to you all! I pray you are having a blessed week...
I wish to let you know that the CDC and Diocese have issued new guidelines for liturgies, relaxing the 6-feet distancing guideline to 3-feet between households at Mass. The CDC also recommends that anyone under the age of 12, and the unvaccinated, continue to wear face masks. NO ONE will be asked to show proof of vaccination! The dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation remains in place. Weekly Mass sign-ups are no longer needed, though might still be necessary for occasional, special, Mass events in the future. I wish to thank you all again, for your patience & diligence over the last year. We are not back to normal yet, but getting much closer!
If you are sick or compromised in any way or you live with anyone who is compromised, you should not attend and are encouraged instead to watch the livestream of the Saturday 4:30pm Mass on our Facebook page at https://facebook.com/hsccbg OR our website at https://holyspiritcatholic.org/livestreamed-masses. No account or login is required at either website in order to watch. We also encourage you to download and read the bulletin weekly. It can be found here on our website...

Our youth are hosting a Flamingo Flocking Fundraiser to raise funds for NCYC. In exchange for a donation (minimum $20) a flock of 50 plastic flamingos will temporarily migrate to your friend's yard. OR purchase insurance to ensure your yard is safe from flocking! Contact Allison at email@example.com for more details.
The Diocesan Marian Shrine Committee is asking you to please participate in a Rosary campaign by uniting and praying the rosary throughout our diocese on May 14, Our Lady of Fatima Feast Day. Let us pray for our bishop, priests, deacons, religious, laity, and for future vocations. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought new struggles to our diocese and through this joint prayer we ask for God’s healing and for God’s divine will to be done. Through prayer our faith will be strengthened!
Registration for Gasper River Summer Camps are now open at their website. Space will be limited this summer so please do not hesitate and get signed up early to reserve your spot! Summer staff applications are also open on their website. If you are or know a college aged young adult please apply or encourage them to apply for the chance to allow God to use them to make a difference in the life of a child! It's the greatest job in the world!
