I wish to let you know that the obligation to attend Mass is to be reinstated, beginning this weekend. This date was chosen because as of June 11, there will be no state-mandated restrictions, including capacity restrictions on gatherings. As has always been the case, those who have a serious reason are exempt from attending Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2181). This includes those who are ill, have significant health risk factors or care for someone who is immuno-compromised or ill, as well as those who have significant fear or anxiety of contracting the coronavirus in a large group of persons. Nevertheless, these persons should observe the Lord’s Day (CIC, can. 1247) and are encouraged to spend time in prayer on Sunday, meditating on the Lord’s Passion, Death and Resurrection.
Bishop Medley has prepared a letter to the faithful available online at https://bit.ly/3wXy3wu
I also encourage you to download and read our weekly bulletin. You can read our bulletin online at http://discovermass.com/church/holy-spirit-catholic-church-bowling-green-ky/#bulletins

It can be difficult for Catholics to go to Mass when traveling, but MassTimes.org makes it easy to search for Mass by presenting all possibilities in a geographical area: Mass times, locations, contact info, websites and maps. As an aid to accuracy, MassTimes displays the date of the last update for each parish in the search results.
Our youth are hosting a Flamingo Flocking Fundraiser to raise funds for NCYC. In exchange for a donation (minimum $20) a flock of 50 plastic flamingos will temporarily migrate to your friend's yard.
