Higher Ground

For adult Catholics confirmed within the last few years and also for adult parish members who were confirmed years ago but are now longing for Higher Ground (greater spiritual maturity).Topics covered will include humility, docility, penance, interior stillness, embracing the Cross, forbearance, mortification, perseverance, charity, spontaneous prayer, giving, serving, peace and joy, growing in holiness, and striving toward sainthood. Higher Ground will draw from books by spiritual directors, the great Saints and Doctors of the Church, Scripture passages on a particular topic, and paragraphs from the CCC. Participants will also benefit from opportunities to encourage one another, establish friendships within the parish, and share burdens and prayer requests with a small group.
